What Is Personal Branding Itself?

Personal branding is the practice of individual marketing themselves and their careers as brand. It is essentially the ongoing process of establishing prescribed image and impression in the mind of others about an individual, group, or organization.

Creating Your Personal Branding

·         Know the why?

Tell this question to yourself! Why do you do it the way you do it? Why do you get up in the morning?

·         What is your message?

What do you offer?

·         Own your differences!

What is your unique selling proposition?

·         What channel are you using?

How do you broadcast your message? Is it platform with video based, image based, or audio based?

·         Know your audience!

Who are you trying to reach or influence?

COMMUNICATIVE EFFECTIVELY ON SOCIAL MEDIA

The first principle in mastering social media is understanding that posting the same content on all social media channels is not sustainable model. Each social media has its own unique purpose, language, and style.

Social Media Categories

·         Text-based: Blogger, Twitter, etc.

·         Video-based: YouTube, TikTok, etc.

·         Audio-based: Spotify, Noice, etc.

·         Image-based: Instagram, Pinterest, etc.

Put yourself in your audience’s place and ask these questions:

·         Is it matters and relatable?

·         Does it fulfill your audience's need?

·         Is it motivating to the audience?

Quality content starts with:

·         Knowing our purpose.

·         Understand our values.

·         Proud of our personalities.

Step 1: Choose Your Social Networks

You don’t have to be on them all, just the ones that motes to you and your audience.

·         Audience

Where do your potential customers hang out? Which social network has the right demographics?

·         Time

How much time can you donate to a social network? Plan on at least an hour per day per social network at least at the start.

·         Resources

What personnel or skills do you have to work with? Do you have the resources to create what’s needed?

Step 2: Give Value and Make Other People Feel Good

Suggested contents:

·         Inspirational/motivational content

·         Educational content

·         Entertainment

What? Start with your central event.

So what? Explain the important or value to your audience.

Now what? Concluding the next steps.

Step 3: Find Your Voice and Tone

Voice is the mission statement, and the tone is the implementation of that mission.

Ask yourself:

·         If your brand was a person, what kind of personality would it have?

·         If your brand was a person, what’s their relationship to the costumer?

·         Describe in adjectives what your company’s personality is not?

·         Are there any companies that have a similar personality to yours?

·         How do you want your customers to think about your company?

Step 4: Pick Your Posting Strategy

What the ideal amount to post per day ‘How often should you post?’ ‘When should you post?’ ‘What should you post?' It depends.

·         Amazing content

·         Perfect timing

·         Ideal frequency

Step 5: Analyze and Test

The more you post, the more you’ll discover, which content, timing, and frequency is right for you.

Social media analysis:

Ø  Set benchmarks.

Ø  Run a test.

Ø  Check the stats.

Ø  Implement changes.

Do I have to be an influencer? Everyone is an influencer.

·         1M+ = mega macro

·         500k – 1M = macro

·         100k-500k = mid

·         10k-100k = micro

·         <10k = nano

HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT?

·         Tell It Like a Story!

Stories engage multiple parts of the brain and can even synchronize the brains of the listener and the person telling the story.

·         Community Over Virality

Become viral in social media is not that hard but consistently get viral because of good matter is incredibly difficult.

·         Quality Over Quantity

Instead of taking how many people see your content, we need to be focusing on how much the value that piece of content actually brings your audience for a consumer to get excited about something to be compelled to click an ad or watch a video it comes down to caring about your audience’s attention and in order for you to win they really need to consume it.

·         Consistency Is Key

This consistency is the magic key that unlocks the door to success in any test. But consistency is not like an on/off thing. You need to be consistent in your action and your thoughts to experience the success that it brings.

·         Try Letting Go the Fear of Judgement

People will always judge you no matter what you do. Which means there’s no way around this. You just need to accept it.
